Carol R. Loose, LCSW, RPT, CATP
Co-Owner, Therapist

Carol Loose, LCSW, RPT, CATP has over fifteen years of experience as a clinical social worker. Carol is well versed in all therapeutic components, including: assessments, diagnosing, treatment planning, crisis intervention, community referrals and discharge planning. Carol also carries the credential of Registered Play Therapist, affording her further expertise and training with children.  Specific, evidenced-based therapies Carol is trained in include:  EMDR, Trauma Focused – CBT, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, substance abuse treatments and Play Therapy. Carol has a special interest in trauma and has completed additional training and is a Child and Adolescent Trauma Professional.

Lee-Anne Vaughn, MBA, LCSW
Co-Owner, Therapist

Lee-Anne Vaughn MBA, LCSW has eight years of experience working as a clinical therapist.  Ms. Vaughn has experience in working with for-profits businesses and she earned both a Master in Business Administration as well as Master in Social Work degree from the University of Kentucky. As a licensed clinical social worker, Lee-Anne is experienced in all therapeutic components, including: assessments, diagnosing, treatment planning, crisis intervention, community referrals and discharge planning.  Evidence based therapies Lee-Anne has received training in include: Trauma Focused – CBT, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and substance abuse treatments.  Ms. Vaughn has a special interest in trauma and mindfulness. She has additional training in Brainspotting Therapy and she is a trained yoga instructor. 

Jennifer Knight, LCSW

Jennifer Knight, LCSW has worked in the field of social work for over 20 years. She has experience working for community mental health outpatient clinics, crisis services, and victim services. She also served as clinical director for a residential treatment program for over 10 years. Specific, evidenced-based therapies Jennifer is trained in include:  EMDR, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and substance abuse treatments.  She has a special interest in trauma-related issues.

Erica Miller, CSW

Erica J. Miller, CSW has seven years of experience as a medical social worker.  Ms. Miller has experience working in federal government, community mental health, and the medical healthcare field. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Georgetown College
and a Masters in Social Work degree from the University of Kentucky.  Currently pursuing an LCSW, Erica has experience in assessments, treatment planning, psychosocial education, motivational interviewing, crisis intervention, and community referrals. She has received training in intimate partner violence, mindfulness, trauma-informed care, and substance abuse treatment.  She has special interest in LGBTQ issues and counseling individuals coping with chronic illnesses.

Lori O'Connor, CSW

Lori O’Connor, CSW, has over twelve years of experience as a medical social worker. She has experience in psychiatric hospital and outpatient clinical settings working with persons with severe mental illnesses, chronic medical conditions, and substance use disorders. Lori has a Bachelors of Arts degree in History from Eastern Kentucky University and Masters of Science in Library Science and Masters in Social Work from the University of Kentucky. Currently working on her LCSW, Lori has experience with biopsychosocial assessments, crisis intervention, psychoeducational groups, motivational interviewing, and community referrals. She has training in trauma-informed care, intimate partner violence, suicide prevention, motivational interviewing, and substance use disorders. She has special interest in working with LGBTQ clients and counseling individuals coping with stigma and trauma. 

Makalah Mahan-Thomas, CMA

Makalah Mahan-Thomas, CMA has six years of experience in front office management and client health insurance navigation. She is experienced in EMR/EHR systems, paper charting, claims issues, client intake procedures and electronic appointment scheduling. Makalah is well-versed in HIPAA laws and is also a Certified Medical Assistant.

My Approach

Rates & Insurance 

Therapy:

Initial intake/assessment -  $175

Individual therapy - $150

Family therapy - $175

Group therapy session per individual (60 - 90 minutes) - $75

Clinical Assessments:

ADHD Computerized Assessment (T.O.V.A.):  $150 (Self-pay only)

Unless otherwise noted, each session is 54 minutes to one hour in length. A comprehensive list of service fees is provided in the new client paperwork.
